I am a Chinese Singaporean mom based in Germany and I booked a 90-day postnatal confinement service from Asian UK London.

We live in Germany and had originally planned to return to Singapore to give birth to our second child there. However, my husband was in Morocco at the time, so we decided to proceed with delivering our baby in Germany.

Our confinement lady, Nurul Izza, traveled all the way from London to attend to us in Germany. Being half Chinese, my family and I were concerned about not having anyone to support me during the confinement period. I must say, we received the best confinement service during that time. I am grateful to Confinement Lady Izza for her assistance with cooking, postnatal massage, and the hot stone treatment, which was incredibly helpful.

My wife and I took 40 days of confinement service from Asian UK Confinement last year in August 2023,

We were introduced to them by our Malaysian Chinese friend here in Switzerland. All we can say is that the confinement lady, Izzah, was very helpful. She did a great job assisting my wife for a full 40 days. Izzah not only helped my wife but also took care of our baby. We miss her cooking, and my wife was very satisfied with her postnatal massage and bertungku treatment. The service provided was excellent, and I would highly recommend it to all Malaysians living abroad in Europe. 

As new parents, this was a new experience for us, and having no family support here made their assistance even more valuable.

As a Chinese family, I naturally want the best for my wife and our newborn. We are Chinese Singaporeans based in Luxembourg and just welcomed our new baby in March.

We received a 60-day postnatal confinement service from Asian UK London, which was recommended to us by a friend in the UK. I booked the service 6 months before my wife's due date, and our baby arrived 3 weeks early.

Madam Lin was excellent and arranged for the best Malay confinement lady, Maisara, to fly all the way from London to care for us during the 60 days. It was a positive experience for us.

Maisara took exceptional care of my wife and skillfully prepared Chinese food to aid in her healing process. She even assisted my wife during the night, which gave me peace of mind as a husband knowing they were both well taken care of.

I highly recommend this service to other new couples living abroad, as I understand how challenging it can be to find confinement services in Europe.

I wanted to confine for 40 days after having my baby and my friend highly recommended getting a CL (confinement lady) they used. We got Sue - the most amazing, knowledgeable and experienced CL! She’s not only a baby whisperer, but a great companion for the mother (and was great with our pets too). Her cooking is delicious and her massages helped me relax and recover. She’s always punctual, positive and eager to help. We found the service so helpful that we just had to extend for an extra month! Absolutely fantastic service!!!

While pregnant with my first child, I discovered confinement services just before my due date. I had very little knowledge about what to expect, but I cannot recommend it enough. Madam Lin was incredibly accommodating—despite my last-minute request and a sudden change in schedule due to an emergency C-section, she arranged for Nur to support us. Nur was an absolute angel during one of the most challenging times of our lives. She provided delicious meals, soothing massages, and the most loving cuddles for our little one. We are so grateful for her care and support.

I have had an amazing postpartum recovery and experience all because of Melissa, my lovely confinement lady. She came to my home for the first time when my baby and I were only 4 days recovering from birth and leaves us tomorrow, when my baby turns 8 weeks and 2 days! Melissa started coming 3 days a week instead of the traditional 30 days, which meant she spent more time with us. We have loved having her cook for us, seeing how much she cares about her meals is a wonderful experience. The massages, hot stone and oil massage, have been so important for my physical recovery. I always feel relaxed and taken care of, it is a quiet time I always look forward to. Lastly, she has helped so much with our baby, especially the last few weeks from soothing, feeding, changing nappies and also playing and singing. I will really miss Melissa! Thank you to this confinement service! All women should have this after birth!

This service helped me so much to recover after the birth of my daughter. The confinement lady who helped me, Sue, was exceptional. She cooked amazing food, gave amazing massage and other healing practices. She also gave me confidence feeding and caring for my baby. I recommend this service and Sue in particular for anyone who wants lots of extra support after birth. It was a great experience.

We had a great experience with the 30 day confinement with Asian Confinement UK and Auntie Faridah. It really helped us relax, not worry about cooking/cleaning and settle into the first month with our newborn. Faridah's massages were so healing and she clearly has a lot of experience with babies and was amazing with our daughter, would highly recommend this service to anyone who is looking for support after birth.

Melissa is an absolute gem and a godsend! She aided in my postpartum recovery with her amazing massages and delicious home-cooked meals, all now sorely missed. She was always punctual and helpful, and her kind demeanour made it easy for me to rest and truly bond with my newborn. My 5 year old son loved having her around too. I highly recommend her services to help new mums with their postnatal recovery.

I came to London and had a prenatal massage at Asian UK Confinement.

I am very proud to have found this Malaysian spa owned by our Malay friend based in London, Madam Lynn Ibrahim. She is the founder of Asian UK and personally performed the prenatal massage for me for an hour. I feel good after a long day of walking and shopping in London.

I am excited that they also provide confinement services for all Asian communities in London. I hope the Malaysian community will come and support our Malay people here in their business.

I chose to use Asian UK Spa & Confinement for 30 days of confinement services in 2023 for postpartum care after having my first child.

The experience was very positive, with CL Melly making a huge difference from day 1 and bringing a sense of calm to our adjustment to having a newborn.

She immediately was able to help us with all aspects of baby care (day & night), whilst keeping the house neat and tidy and providing my husband and I (and sometimes family & friends too!) with delicious meals.

On top of this, she made sure that I, as the mother, was taken care of, with daily treatments and massages. Her experience and care also helped me to identify an infection from early on that I might have missed and I was able to get treated very quickly.

We were so sad to see her go and would recommend Asian UK Spa & Confinement services to any new mum.
